We are a feminine hygiene company founded by Isis Devisch-Lal. Our mission is to make the safest menstrual pads in the world for women's bodies and the environment. Our pads contain no petroleum based products and no other synthetics. Through her own research and experimentation, Isis has led Wyrta to create a menstrual pad that functions as well as a synthetic pad and can be sold at a similar price.

Wyrta is the first feminine hygiene company to design a product based on the components of menstrual blood. Our innovations on the menstrual pad include the addition of chitosan, whose properties bind to blood, and bio-SAP, to form a fully-natural menstrual pad that works as well as a synthetic pad.

Wyrta is ideal for people looking for a menstrual pad which absorbs blood quickly and in large quantities. This is because of the chitosan, which pulls blood towards it with an opposing charge, and the bio-SAP, which can hold liquid in bulk. With a cotton top layer, Wyrta pads are also soft and comfortable. The pads by Wyrta come with wings and come in paper packaging.
